Case Studies

We have asked a few sites to write case studies about how ItemTracker is helping them to accomplish their work. Hopefully these will help you to see whether ItemTracker is the solution that you are after.

Hammersmith Hospital, Andrology Department

One of the first sites that ItemTracker was used at was the Hammersmith Hospital Andrology Department. ItemTracker is used to manage their patients, samples and storage area. Their samples are bar coded, letters to patients are automatically printed using the mail merge feature and completed patient forms are scanned and associated with patients. Click here for the case study.

National Institute of Biological Standard and Control (NIBSC)

NIBSC started using ItemTracker in the early stages of its development. Initially it was used by around 30 users for a straight forward inventory control project. After proving so successful, it has been rolled out across the institute onto all 300 computers.

The Institute of Cell and Molecular Science of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry

The Institute of Cell and Molecular Science of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry was established in 2003 and aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service. In this video, Mr Chris Pelling gives an overview of the way Itemtracker has helped them to organise their samples both in the laboratory and stored in the many freezers at the Institute.
